Alam Jiwa

Near Ubud, the arts and cultural center of Bali, Alam Jiwa (the soul of nature) is Ketut's new creation, located behind the family home. Alam Jiwa is set back in rice fields of Nyuhkuning village. Alam Jiwa is 15 minutes walk from sister hotel Alam Indah which is located along the river valley and the monkey forest. Alam Jiwa is one hour drive north of Denpasar airport.

The two of us spent a total of nine nights at the Alam Jiwa, a beautiful small hotel located just south of the Ubud monkey forest in the village of Nyuhkuning. The comfortable, well decorated rooms have gorgeous sunrise views Mt. Agung, along with rice paddies and a rushing stream. But the best reason to stay at Alam Jiwa is the people - the staff are the friendliest and most accomodating we've met in all of our travels. They really made our two stays at Alam Jiwa feel like home.
